  • This is a new system and NOT REQUIRED but it may save you time from waiting in line to pick-up items and allow you to fill out our waiver before hand

  • These are LIMITED in quantity and will require a $20 refundable deposit and photos of your items

Cooperative Reuse is a furniture exchange and recycling program which runs from May 17-27, 10am to 5pm in the Clark Kerr Southwest Parking lot.

DONATE:

  • ANYONE can donate:

    • E-waste

    • Unopened, unexpired, non-perishable food

    • Clothes, Shoes, Accessories

    • Jewelry, Handbags, Scarves, Belts

    • Bedding & Bath linens

    • Books, CDs, DVDs

    • Pots, pans, and kitchen items

    • Throw pillows, curtains

    • Lighting (table floor, wall lamps, and shades)

    • Pictures, paintings, and sculptures

    • Computers and networking equipment

    • Televisions (flat-screen televisions and monitors)

    • Consumer electronics

    • Kids’ toys and games, and stuffed animals

    • Bikes and boards, and wet suits

  • Accepting FURNITURE donations from UC Berkeley affiliates ONLY (BRING CAL ID):

    • Mattresses, bed frames, couches, chairs, tables, and other large furniture in good condition

  • We DO NOT ACCEPT:

    • Opened/perishable food

    • Mattress toppers

    • Mini-fridges

    • Cribs, strollers, car seats, safety gates, etc.

    • Anything damaged, stained, soiled or rusting

    • Weapons of any kind

    • Any liquids, fuels and chemicals

    • Medicines and medical equipment

    • Tires, batteries or light bulbs

    • Building materials, garbage or trash

    • Large appliances (washers, dishwashers, refrigerators, etc.)

    • Pianos and organs

    • Printer inks, toners

    • Anything unhygienic

    • Anything dangerous

PICKUP FREE FURNITURE:

  • Open to ALL COMMUNITY MEMBERS!

  • Pick up donated second-hand furniture for FREE

TRANSPORTATION:

  • Enter Clark Kerr Southwest Parking Lot via Warring Street If you are dropping off items, visit the check-in desk for unloading instructions

  • Otherwise, PAID parking is available in the UPPER LOT ONLY, take the ramp & park your vehicle, then visit the check-in desk
