  • These are LIMITED in quantity so sign up ASAP. Please be realistic and cognizant of your schedule when signing up for time slots.

Free Furniture Donation or Pick-Up: SIGN UP here to claim a slot via Eventbrite to donate or pickup free furniture at our Cooperative Reuse site!

  • This is NOT REQUIRED but it will save you time! Less waiting in line and will allow you to fill out our waiver before hand

Please fill out our waiver before arrival if possible!

Cooperative Reuse is a furniture exchange and recycling program which runs from May 23rd to June 1st, 10am to 5pm in the Clark Kerr Southwest Parking lot.

UC Berkeley affiliates only: Friday - Sunday, 10am - 2pm
All UC Berkeley Students, Staff & Faculty Welcome (CalID Required)

All-community pickup hours: Monday - Thursday, 10am - 5 pm; Friday - Sunday, 2pm - 5pm
Please note that this is a new system. Members of the public will not be able to access our site from 10am - 2pm on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sunday. We appreciate your understanding.

DONATE:

  • Accepting donations from UC Berkeley affiliates ONLY (BRING CAL ID):

    • Mattresses, bed frames, couches, chairs, tables, and other large furniture in good condition

    • Small working electronics and lighting (table lamps, kitchen gadgets, computer monitors)

    • Unopened, unexpired, non-perishable food

    • Working bikes, scooters, and skateboards

    • E-waste

  • We DO NOT ACCEPT:

    • Clothing

    • Opened/perishable food

    • Laptops, tablets, phones, computer towers, and any device that contain personal data

    • Mattress toppers

    • Mini-fridges

    • Large appliances (washers, dishwashers, refrigerators, etc.)

    • Cribs, strollers, car seats, safety gates, etc.

    • Anything damaged, stained, soiled or rusting

    • Weapons of any kind

    • Any liquids, fuels and chemicals

    • Medicines and medical equipment

    • Tires, batteries or light bulbs

    • Countertops, fixtures, building materials, garbage or trash

    • Printer inks, toners

    • Anything unhygienic

    • Anything dangerous

PICKUP FREE FURNITURE:

  • Open to ALL COMMUNITY MEMBERS Monday - Thursday, and Fridays - Sunday after 2 PM!

  • Pick up donated second-hand furniture for FREE

TRANSPORTATION:

  • Enter Clark Kerr Southwest Parking Lot via Warring Street If you are dropping off items, visit the check-in desk for unloading instructions

  • Otherwise, PAID parking is available in the UPPER LOT ONLY, take the ramp & park your vehicle, then visit the check-in desk
