  1. Donate your gently used items and unopened non-perishable foods through the end of year donation drive!

  • Residents can help to prevent thousands of pounds of waste from entering the landfill and give new life to their items by giving them to those in need. Please bring your items to the bins in any of the following locations:

    • All lounges in Unit 1-3 

    • Unit 3 APR 

    • CKC Buildings 1, 2, & 12 

    • Foothill: Stern Lobby, Building 5 Rec Room & Building 8 Library 

    • Channing Bowditch

    • Ida Jackson

  • You CAN donate: gently- used clothing, small accessories, unopened, non perishable food & toiletries 

  • You CANNOT donate: Books, Pillows, Mattress Pads, Towels, Sheets, Dirty Clothing, Opened food & toiletries.

  • Please use the compost, recycle and landfill bins for these items if you need to dispose of them.

  • Please do not bring broken or damaged items, fragile items, or items larger than the collection bags (18"x18").

2. Use extra Cal Dining Flex Dollars to buy groceries for the UC Berkeley Food Pantry

  • Purchase groceries for the UC Berkeley Food Pantry at Bear Market, CK Cub, Cub Market, Brown’s California Cafe, Golden Bear Cafe, and the Den.
